Safari camping is a great and unique way to get the best of both worlds.

Based in our own enclosed area adjacent to the Waterland outdoor adventure centre, the fully equipped tents offer an excellent base for guests to enjoy a range of leisure activities to suit all.

The lakes were originally gravel pits dug out to supply stone for a number of major road developments. There are now over 140 lakes in the complex.

From quiet nature reserve to watersports and powerboat racing there's something for everyone.

We use no permanent structures and we do wherever possible use renewable energy and water conservation to minimize our impact on the local environment.

Each tent has wooden beds , comfortable mattresses ,with fitted sheets and duvets to give that element of luxury whilst retaining the feeling of being part of the great outdoors that you only get from camping. You'll have your own barbecue with shared kitchen and washing up area. Along with the central dining / meeting area.

There are ample toilets on site with hot showers available in the mornings and evenings in outback style shower tents.
